I'm a casual camera user but this is my review. I almost never adust the settings like a knowledgeable photographer, in fact don't even know how or why. I've owned a bunch of digital cameras before the Canon PowerShot A590IS, and I really am quite amazed at the difference. This little camera was big eye opener for me. It's honestly like the leap from a disposable to a 35mm SLR. The clarity and color are great, and most importantly for me, the image-stabilization has really upped my "good photo" ratio.

 

I'm really pleased with my purchase of the canon a590is. It does a really fine job for everyday photos. With the added accessories pack it makes it a great deal. I didn't want some small camera I'd probably just end up losing. , this camera has a nice feel to it. .
